Liz Tuffnell AICP
Landscape Designer
Liz joined the OSD team in the summer of 2024 as a Planner and Landscape Designer. She brings several years of public sector experience including community planning, park design, streetscape improvements, and master planning projects. Liz is passionate about creating spaces that improve everyday life and recognizes the importance of connecting with people and the environment to provide a strong sense of identity and place. Liz earned her Bachelor’s Degree in Landscape Architecture from Clemson University and is now a member of the American Institute of Certified Planners. In her free time, you can find Liz on the water and at the beach with friends and family, or exploring one of Charleston’s many parks and nature trails with her dog.
Biography
George joined the OSD team in 2015, bringing an invaluable amount of creativity, horticultural knowledge and field experience. As a landscape architect, George works on various projects including single and multi-family residential design, commercial design, public open spaces, and park planning. George enjoys working closely with our clients from the conceptual stage through construction.
George earned a Bachelors Degree in Landscape Architecture from Clemson University with a Minor in Horticulture. George also is OSD’s resource for all things trees, as he is an International Society of Arboriculture Certified Arborist. Outside of OSD, George donates his time as a member of the Youth Ambassador Council with the First Tee of Greater Charleston. In his free time he can be found exploring the outdoors, spending time with his wife and son, or playing golf.
