Garris Killingsworth, ASLA
Landscape Designer
Garris joined the OSD team in the spring of 2018. Before graduating from Clemson University with a bachelor’s degree in Landscape Architecture, he served as OSD’s first intern. Since his internship, Garris has provided valuable experience in residential, commercial, institutional, and public design for the OSD team. He also spent a semester analyzing and designing portions of the Lowcountry Low Line for his senior exit project. Garris is driven by the opportunity to improve the natural landscape, livability, and functionality of the communities in which we live. A native of John’s Island, Garris likes to spend his free time fishing the nearby rivers, playing golf, working on his home, and spending time with his wife and two sons..
Biography
George joined the OSD team in 2015, bringing an invaluable amount of creativity, horticultural knowledge and field experience. As a landscape architect, George works on various projects including single and multi-family residential design, commercial design, public open spaces, and park planning. George enjoys working closely with our clients from the conceptual stage through construction.
George earned a Bachelors Degree in Landscape Architecture from Clemson University with a Minor in Horticulture. George also is OSD’s resource for all things trees, as he is an International Society of Arboriculture Certified Arborist. Outside of OSD, George donates his time as a member of the Youth Ambassador Council with the First Tee of Greater Charleston. In his free time he can be found exploring the outdoors, spending time with his wife and son, or playing golf.
