Allen joined OSD in the Spring of 2021 bringing with him a deep passion for residential gardens and southern horticulture. As a lifelong gardener with experience ranging from large botanical gardens to private garden retreats, Allen has proudly built lasting relationships with his clients. Through working closely with individuals to understand their unique desires, he strives to create landscapes which grow and evolve beautifully, harmonizing with and enhancing the day to day life of the homeowner.
Allen earned his Bachelor’s Degree in Landscape Architecture with a Minor in Horticulture from the University of Georgia and is a registered Landscape Architect in South Carolina. When out of the office, Allen enjoys walking around downtown Charleston with his wife Nicole, hosting family and friends, gardening, and finding inspiration through travel.
Biography
Allen joined the OSD team in the Spring of 2021 as a Landscape Designer with a background in Horticulture. He brings experience from a variety of project types, ranging from large scale campus planning, to small scale public parks and residential gardens. Allen prides himself in building lasting relationships with clients and helping them to create landscapes which provide year long interest and function long term.
Allen earned a Bachelors Degree in Landscape Architecture and minor in Horticulture from University Of Georgia. During his time at Georgia, he worked in public gardens, greenhouses, farms, and plant nurseries. On the weekends you may find him on the water with friends, gardening, or making music in Wade’s garage.
