As one of the most challenging and beautiful golf courses in the world, the Ocean Course on Kiawah Island is home to numerous professional golf tournaments and is the dream experience of many golfers.
OSD’s founding principal, Evan Brandon, was honored to be a part of the design team responsible for the master planning and detailed landscape design of the clubhouse. Evan assisted in the layout and siting of the clubhouse, entry drive sequence, design of the practice facilities, cart staging areas, drop off, parking, and planting along the entry drive and around the clubhouse.
Working closely with Robert A.M. Stern, Architects, Evan helped develop a landscape that complimented a building that was designed to look decades old upon its completion.
Evan provided landscape architecture design, managed the bidding and negotiation and provided construction observation for this project.
