OSD designed and oversaw the construction of the renovation of the existing garden surrounding an iconic W.G. Clarke home. The challenge was to create a landscape that complimented the home, but also was livable, and dynamic and that took advantage of the 270 degrees of deep water views of the residence. OSD was able to achieve this by carving out a comfortable seating area at the front of the residence that incorporates a colorful plant palette that contrasts the cool colors used in the hardscape material and those of the modern architecture. In addition, OSD incorporated a crushed bluestone drive court, decorative fencing, and an electronic gate for added privacy and security.
Years later, OSD still enjoys walking this landscape with the homeowners, listening to them describe how much they enjoy it.
